Collectors across the U.K. are protesting against the number of stamps issued by Royal Mail. An online petition is attracting huge interest.
"Royal Mail's issue policy of bleeding us dry is effectively killing the collection of modern stamps," argues collector Kevin Fisher, while fellow collector Gareth Cox adds, "Great Britain is like a Third World Country, where the stamps are produced like confetti."
The petition was started by Tony Buckingham, a leading name in the trade who won the prestigious Roland Hill award for his contribution to Philately. This is not the first time Buckingham has challenged Royal Mail after successfully taking them to the Office of Fair Trading.
